PPL Ground School
Complete all ground school and the 9 exams at your own pace. Our tailored packages help you complete the theory and exams to a schedule which suits you. We offer full day courses or evening classes in London or at Blackbushe airfield.
Radio telephony
With 3 hours of RT training this course ensures you can communicate confidently via the radio ahead of your practical exam.

The practical exam takes approximately 45 minutes and Al is a Flight Radio Telephony Operators Licence Examiner so can complete your exam as well. The course and exam can be arranged at a suitable date and time for you.
Ground School IMC/IR(R)
The IMC Ground School is 20 hours which covers the theoretical knowledge required for your instrument rating. The course includes sitting your exam so you are fully prepared to continue with the practical part of the rating. Note, this rating must be issued by 08/04/2021.
Night Rating Ground School
Night flying requires an additional rating and our three hour course takes you through the theory before you complete your practical hours.
Safety pilot & hours building planning
Passing your PPL is just the first (big) step on your journey as a pilot and there's a lot of knowledge to consolidate as you explore the UK (and further afield). A safety pilot on your trips provides additional expertise to help you feel confident negotiating airspace and handling unforeseen situations.

As your experience increases you may want to become more adventurous with your journeys, potentially flying abroad for several weeks at a time. We can work with you to plan the trip of a lifetime so you are confident regarding the different airspace you'll be flying through.
SkyDemon Expert
After completing your PPL there are additional tools you can utilise to support your flying and reduce your workload. SkyDemon is a VFR flight planning and navigation software and our course will teach you the full functionality of SkyDemon so you can continue your exploration of the sky with ease.
